I have a couple of meetings on Capitol Hill this morning. Then, in mid-day, I’ll be leaving the office and reporting to the hotel on the outskirts of Washington where my family is staying because my daughter is in the National Spelling Bee this week. She did not make it into today’s finals—she was eliminated by points, not because she got a word wrong!—but she understandably wants to stay through the end. I’ll spend the afternoon writing at the hotel, and should be reachable if needed.
