I’ll be reachable for much of the afternoon. (How to contact me)

Washington’s protests were larger and more peaceful last night. No teargas provocations, and no looting. As a result the security forces’ helicopters stayed at a higher altitude, rather than swooping low over my house like they did for all of Sunday and Monday nights.

I mention that all here because it means I finally got a decent night’s sleep, and look forward to doing my work with a clearer head today. I’m getting a late start (it’s 8am as I write this, I prefer to rise far earlier) and will spend much of the day in a Colombian TV interview, two internal WOLA meetings, a border-related meeting, and a series of website updates. Most of those meetings are in the morning, so I should be more responsive to messages in the afternoon.
